a metaphor of self . constructing me starts early and never ends

subjective is the nature of life. so as children our songs are imbued at some point with words that suggest our grandeur. and we move forward tending the metaphor of self, grooming it and growing it. so are my thoughts on a second straight nice day in chicago thinking about my three year old’s song from the backseat yesterday.

hurry up and wait! that’s what most closings are like these days as wire transfers don’t and underwriters stall and mortgage brokers aren’t at the closing table and buyers wait to close. and so it goes.
